"What type of stock and coating should I choose for my business cards or brochures", is a common question we get. Discount Printing Detroit makes it easy! For business cards, our standard business cards come in 14pt card stock or 12pt card stock. The 14pt business cards come coated on both sides with an aqueous coating (or a light gloss) the 12pt business cards come coated on 1 side with aqueous and uncoated on the other. Uncoated is best if you need to write on the business card, although aqueous is also able to be written on with most pens or felt tip Sharpies. At no additional cost, you may add our ultra gloss UV coating to both sides of the 14pt business card and one side of the the 12pt business card. This gives the cards that very popular high gloss finish, although it is very, very difficult to write on UV coating. Rounded corners and 3.5"x4" fold-over business cards are also everyday products we offer. We also offer ultra thick 16pt card stock business cards in a dull matte finish or at no additional charge, UV coating. Lastly, for those who really want to make a unique impression, we offer plastic business cards in opaque white or clear.
